PerseusPerseus
![]() "Perseus was found at a Christmas party in December 2009. He was a starving stray cat. He was brought to 9 Lives Cat Rescue by a volunteer and then later adopted by that same volunteer when they were able to adopt him. He is the sweetest cat and loves to cuddle up and sleep with his new guardian. He is so happy that he has found a loving forever home!"

![]() ![]() ![]() "I had started working as a volunteer with 9Lives Cat Rescue and have seen quite a few great cats come in and find great homes. 9LCR acquired a pair of orange and white bobtail brothers that looked nearly identical. One brother was adopted quickly, but the other made several trips to the pet store and was not adopted for several months. His outgoing personality and talkative nature immediately attracted me to him. Eventually I talked my wife into adopting him. We named him ‘Bob’. Our four-year-old cat ‘Flash’ was not too sure about Bob at first, but we introduced them slowly and they have become good buddies. Flash still likes his space and is not a lap cat, but Bob is quick to get in our laps and cuddle all the time. Bob talks constantly, sometimes it’s a loud meow, sometimes he just grumbles to himself or lets out a loud grunt when he jumps from my lap of off of the kitchen counter. He cracks us up every day with new antics wither it’s the time he tried to drag a huge slice of cake in a Ziploc bag off the counter, constantly dunking his toys in his water bowl, the time he was in a tree and it took a 40-foot ladder to get him down (bad boy), bringing us voles (good boy), running around the house for no reason or the time we watched him stalk and chase a deer out of our yard! Bob is a great cat and he was fortunate to be taken in by 9LCR, most shelters would have put him down since he did not get adopted quickly. Adopting Bob is one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am grateful for the joy he has added to our lives and to 9LCR."-RKJ Last Updated (Thursday, 22 April 2010 04:00) SealySealy
